Unit Ventilators

VRV Integration

Daikin unit ventilator and VRV solutions provide a design flexibility to work around architectural hurdles to deliver a solution that fits the space regardless or size, age or design technique.

  • Absence of ductwork removes potential audible distractions such as rattling, humming and buzzing
  • Outdoor air processing capability bolsters indoor air quality
  • Provides individual control of heating and cooling and direct integration of fresh air
  • Reduced equipment footprint – 1 condensing unit for every 6-10 unit ventilators
  • Alternates the refrigerant volume to match a building's precise requirements
  • Minimum energy requirements to maintain set temperatures and ensure that it automatically shuts off when no occupants are detected
  • Reduce energy costs while reducing system carbon emissions

Hydronic Systems

Daikin's Unit Ventilators seamlessly integrate with your building's central water loop. This loop circulates conditioned water throughout the building, delivering efficient heating and cooling exactly where it's needed.

Depending on your needs, the system can intelligently utilize a boiler to heat the water for warmth or a cooling tower to chill it for refreshing comfort. This ensures a constant water temperature, guaranteeing consistent comfort throughout your entire building.

Geothermal Applications

When configured in a geothermal system, unit ventilators operate as a ground source heat pump to tap the Earth's natural warmth for heating and cooling.

In heating mode, the Earth acts as a heat source, warming the fluid that gets sent inside the ground loop. The unit ventilator then amplifies this heat and distributes warm air throughout the building. For cooling, the process reverses. The unit ventilator removes heat from the air and sends it back down to the Earth through the ground loop, where it's stored for future heating needs.
